So how did your 2018 aristic journey start?? Please share with me!

2018 Goals

Create several series, including 8 collabs (1 done) for a convention I'm planning on attending in November. -> DONE
Work on improving my art: anatomy and poses including animals, backgrounds and scenery, contrast in watercolour, shadows and light. -> DONE
Stop being scared of big formats. -> what???
Frame my artworks (plans for the 3rd timester of the school year). -> kinda

2018 Wishes

Taking reasonable commissions. -> maybe
Having a sweet number of Patrons. -> mmmm ^^"
Selling original pieces. -> a little
Meet more art friends and create awesome art with them. -> kinda

Summary

JANUARY

It was a rather productive month despite the several dead moments. I created a lot of sketches and concept pages for future projects, a few ACEOs, a few texture packs and 2 paintings!
FEBRUARY

So... Feb is short, right? So, remove 1week and then you have my February... crazy month!!!
MARCH: Nature awakening [Mar18 Patreon Reward]
I think I hit a burnout afther the crazy February month, doubled with a disgusting art block. I just wish April will be better.
APRIL: Coping Mechanism
Huge panic, I am not ready for the convention. My art is all over the place, I can't draw in the styles I had already establish, nothing looks the same, and I have too many conceptual pieces compared to fairy tale fantasy ones. I am doooooooooooooooomed!
MAY: Spiky Mermayd
Oh look, another "just a pencil drawing" month...
JUNE

Another illustrated literature collab, yay!!! (I'm dead though)
JULY: Circle (Patreon Reward)
A month filled with collabs and salt textures ^^
AUGUST: Sayyida (contest prize)
Very little drawing/painting this month, but a lot of photos and crafts.

SEPTEMBER:

A lot of collab work done this month and sketches in preperation for Inktober.
So, stay tuned for some intense ink work ^^
OCTOBER:

Inktober and collabs, a lot of collabs!!!!!!
NOVEMBER:

Did a lot of portrait commissions, and this lovely watercolour commission as a collab with Sieskja
DECEMBER: Warrior (portrait commission)
Finishing up commissions and taking a break. Also working on some behind the scenes for an upcomming project.
