Wooop, wooop, MERMAYD!!!!

Here is the second one, this one is SPIKY
I got my inspiration from fish that have those sort of spikes on their backs, like this one

The pose was very difficult my bad for liking complex poses, and then crying.
But I think I managed to save it, my ovservation skills are getting better ^^

Don't you guys think mermaids are very hard to fit in a normal canvas ratio???
Logically, their tails should be very short, because all the vital organs are already contained within the torso.
But let's be serious, a woman is beautiful (standardly) when she had long legs, and as in our minds we see the tail as legs (really, HOW MANY pictures have you seen of mermaids with KNEES??!!??? They shouldn't have knees, or butts actually, but people still draw them, cuz fantasy! A tail has a spine inside, NOT legs lol!!!) So yeah, we do draw tails longer then they should be, just because a mermaid is supposed to be beautiful. Even dark mermaids are supposed to be beautiful!!!! So, I was saying... yeah, these super long tails are so hard to squeeze into the canvas, and many artists, including me I think, give them way more corve than they should have, considering it's a spine... But yeah... difficulties of the challenge ^^"
